The Economic Development Office has compiled a list of tax credits and other financial incentives that your business may be eligible for, to assist in managing the costs of building renovation and redevelopment.

Barrier Removal Tax Deduction

 Tax deduction for businesses which remove barriers  and make their facilities ADA-compliant.  Up to $15,000 annually
Federal Rehabilitation Tax Credit (p.17)

Tax credit for rehabilitation and reconstruction of pre-1936 commercial buildings.  Up to 10% of total amount spent
EDIP Investment Tax Credit - Expansion Project (p. 4)
(Office of Housing and Economic Development)
Tax credit for projects in an Economic Opportunity Area with the potential for full-time job creation and expansion of sales outside the Commonwealth.  Also requires Town Meeting approval.

CDC/504 Loan
