UPDATES:

Route 6 Snow Route
When the roads are unplowed or icy, Route 6 will not operate on Rangeway, Skyview Road or John Benson Road.
Snow route will be Volunteer Way to Coach Road to Carriage Drive.

Lexpress is now linked to Google Transit - To explore a route and times, go to Google Transit and enter starting and ending points.  You must include Town and State.  A map of your Lexpress travels along with boarding and arrival time will appear.

General Information:

LEXPRESS is Lexington's neighborhood, minibus system.

Each route operates once per hour. Routes begin and end at Depot Square. Each route takes 25 minutes. Times are approximate, subject to traffic.

LEXPRESS  connects to the following transit systems: MBTA, Burlington B-Line and Lowell Regional Transit.

Joseph's Transportation Inc. operates the service under contract to the Town of Lexington. Funding is provided by the Town of Lexington and the MBTA.

When exiting LEXPRESS, cross behind the bus after it pulls away.  Please cross the streets with care and always cross at a crosswalk or traffic lights if possible.  Cars are not required to stop when LEXPRESS or the MBTA buses let off riders.

Weekday Hours: September - June: 6:35 AM to 6:25 PM

July - August: 7:00 AM to 6:25 PM 

No service Saturdays, Sundays or Legal Holidays

Outside Lexington Center, LEXPRESS stops on demand.
Stand in a safe area visible to the LEXPRESS driver and wave as the bus approaches.
