Emergency Medical Services
We are proud to provide the Town of Lexington with the most comprehensive Emergency Medical Service available. Staffed by 26 Paramedics with other uniformed personnel having Emergency Medical Technician Certification as a minimum level of certification.
Our trained staff is capable of providing the most advanced level of care on the scene available. The department operates two advanced life support ambulances. Medic 1 has a dedicated crew while Medic 2 is crossed staffed with the ladder crew when available. The department maintains active mutual aid agreements with all of our neighboring communities, as well as several neighboring advance life support providers. The department also provides EMS services during special events such as the 4th of July and Patriots Day activities.

To obtain a copy of your ambulance transport and trip sheet, you may send a written request, signed by the patient, to Lexington Fire Department, 45 Bedford Street, Lexington, MA 02420, Attention: Records. The fee for these records `is $5.00.
