LexMedia Public Access TV begins training program
Woburn Street repaving project:
Pavement binder coat complete, and few detours for local traffic will be necessary.
Work will continue on grates, curbing, & sidewalks until ground freezes.
The Minuteman Bikeway detour will continue throughout the fall and winter.
Completion of the project will occur in the spring of 2009.

Spring Street intersection reconstruction project - community meeting
December 3 at 7:00 pm in Cary Hall, 1605 Massachusetts Avenue.
State grant will fund sidewalk completion & intersection reconstruction at Spring,
Marrett, & Bridge Streets. (posted November 14, 2008)
Lexington Composting site expanded hour schedule Sept. 29 - Dec. 7:

M-F 7:30 am - 4:30 pm
Sat and Sunday 8AM - 4PM (except on the 2 remaining Saturday Hazardous Waste
Collections on Oct. 18 and Sat. Nov. 8th when the gates will close at 2 pm)
