The Lexington Conservation Stewards are volunteers who work closely with the Conservation Division to care for the town's 1,400-plus acres of conservation land. Through efforts such as building and maintaining bridges, boardwalks, and trails, controlling invasive species, cleaning up streams, and hosting events, the Stewards continually work to improve Lexington's conservation lands. A smaller group, the Steward Directors, meets monthly to coordinate stewardship activities.
