The Community Farming Committee was dissolved in May, 2017
From the Committee charge:
The Community Farming Committee will monitor the operations of a community farm on Town-owned land and make regular reports to the Board of Selectmen that include an evaluation of:
- the operator's site plan
- educational programming
- financial condition
- environmental practices
- contract compliance
- public benefits of community farming activities.
Members of the Committee should be citizens with sufficient background to understand the financial and operational activities of a community farm, as well as an understanding of the benefits of community farming.
