Become a Junior Ranger, right here in Lexington!
Lexington's Junior Ranger is for anyone young or young-at-heart with the urge to get out and explore the natural spaces right here in our community. To become a Junior Ranger in Lexington, you will need to:
- Visit three of Lexington’s conservation lands
- Have fun completing the activities in the Junior Ranger Guide – and get it signed by an adult
- Take the Lexington Ranger Pledge that you will keep our community conservation lands safe for plants, animals, and people (see last page of the Junior Ranger Guide)
When you have completed all 3 steps above, bring your completed, signed Junior Ranger packet to the Community Development Office in Town Hall (8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday) to receive your Lexington Junior Ranger Certificate and a special prize!
Lexington's Junior Ranger Program is sponsored by Citizens for Lexington Conservation, Cary Memorial Library, and the Lexington Conservation Division.
