Stewardship Saturday Program 2019

Join the Lexington Conservation Stewards for work and camaraderie on the third Saturday of each month.     Japanese Stilt grass pulling at Wright Farm

ALL WORK DAYS 9 A.M.-12 P.M. IN THE EVENT OF INCLEMENT WEATHER, CONTACT THE CONSERVATION DIVISION FOR CANCELLATION INFORMATION.

We will provide all tools and know-how, just bring work gloves, work appropriate clothing (no open-toed shoes) and a willingness to work!

Trail building

Hayden Woods

Parking: 33 Hayden Avenue- east side of parking lot adjacent to woods
Join Lead Stewards Mike Tabaczynski and Don Grant for a morning of trail building at Hayden Woods; two small trail segments connecting Hayden Avenue with the Hayden Woods trail system will be constructed.

 

November 16th

Japanese Knotweed digging

Willard’s Woods

Parking: Park in the Willard’s Wood parking area on North Street
Join the Stewards as we work at digging out Japanese knotweed while it is dormant and the success rate is higher. The location of this year’s dig will be along the “driveway” of the Willard’s Woods parking area.
