The Lexington Office of Public Health and the Lexington Public Schools will host a community forum to discuss what we know, and how we’re responding to, the continuing global public health concern, COVID-19.
Thursday, March 12, 6:00 – 7:30 PM
Battin Hall, Cary Memorial Building
1605 Massachusetts Avenue
There will be a panel of local elected officials, Town and School Department staff, cultural community leaders, and health experts to share the facts available to us, and to answer the community’s questions.
We will be covering topics including:
- The latest update on COVID-19
- How we will communicate updates to the public, and where to find the most up-to-date information
- Ways to prepare and stay healthy
- The Office of Public Health, Board of Health, and School Department’s authority and role in monitoring and addressing COVID-19
After the discussion, panelists will take the community’s questions.
LexMedia will be live-streaming this forum on LexMedia.org, and it will be available for later on-demand viewing. It will also broadcast live on the public channel: Comcast 8, RCN 3 and Verizon 35, and in HD on RCN 613.
