Neighborhood Meeting: Cedar Street Sidewalk Request

Residents and Cedar Street abutters are encouraged to attend the Transportation Safety Group's (TSG) public meeting on the proposed Cedar Street Sidewalk.  We will be discussing the sidewalk request procedure and the pros and cons of a preliminary sidewalk layout.  TSG is looking for feedback from residents.  The purpose of the meeting is for the neighborhood to a get sense of the possible layout and for TSG to gage neighborhood support. TSG will be making a recommendation to the Select Board whether to build the entire proposed length of the sidewalk, a portion of the proposed length, or no sidewalk.  The Select Board will then decide whether or not to include design and construction funding in the FY2023 Budget at Annual Town Meeting 2022. The existing conditions survey is posted on the Sidewalk Request page.  A concept plan will be posted in advance of the meeting on the Sidewalk Request page.  If you wish to provide written comments or cannot attend but would like to comment please email: Sheila Page at
